Mornington Launch Team



  • Welcome Team - Welcome everyone with big smiles! Help people find seats and connect with the church community. Pass around offering buckets and communion. Give new visitors a Welcome Pack and Visitor Card and invite them to the Connections Area.

Skills & Abilities: Public relations, customer service, warm and outgoing. Able to give directions.

  • Connections - Our Connect Area is a space for people who are new or not yet connected to find out more about CityLife Church and how they can begin to step into community. Over a cup of tea or coffee we can have a chat with people, hear their story and pray with them if appropriate. Responsibilities include welcoming and inviting people to the Connect Area, giving them Welcome Packs with CityLife information & encouraging them to fill out the Visitor Card.

    Skills & Abilities

  • Refreshments Team - Create cozy, welcoming spaces by setting up and packing up the coffee and tea station with refreshments, ensuring our community feels right at home.

Skills & Abilities: Organised and reliable.

  • Venue Manager - To oversee the practical aspects for all the corporate meetings and events held by CityLife Church. Venue Managers are to oversee the various areas of service such as offering collection, communion distribution, welcoming/hospitality teams and helping set up/pack up parts of the venue.

Skills & Abilities: Ability to give clear instructions, organised and reliable.

  • Production (Audio) - To use production elements such as Sound to glorify God, support an atmosphere of worship, and allow His Word to be understood.

Spiritual Gifts: All Welcome

Skills & Abilities: Readiness to learn technical processes and equipment. Ability to collaborate and work under direction. No prior production experience necessary.

  • Production (Media) - To use production elements such as Computer Graphics & Lighting to glorify God, support an atmosphere of worship, and allow His Word to be understood.

Spiritual Gifts: All Welcome

Skills & Abilities: Readiness to learn technical processes and equipment. Ability to collaborate and work under direction. No prior production experience necessary.

  • Vocals - To minister through song and foster expressive praise.

Spiritual Gifts: All Welcome

Skills & Abilities: Good singing voice, ability to listen to and blend with other vocalists, willingness to lead others from the platform.

  • Music Instruments - To minister through congregational music, as a solo instrumentalist or part of an ensemble within a band.

Spiritual Gifts: All Welcome

Skills & Abilities: Ability to play your instrument with a level of proficiency and a readiness to develop further. To listen and blend with other musicians and learn parts to songs.



  • Kids Ministry - Simply 'being there' for our kids by leading parts of the program which may include welcoming our kids, assisting in crafts, running a game, encouraging praise & worship, leading small group activity or teaching Bible lessons.

Skills & Abilities: No special skills required as training is provided.
